Aberdeen Standard hires ex-M&G exec in Asia

Asia-Pacific_globeAberdeen Standard Investments has hired Andrew Hendry as head of distribution for the Asia-Pacific region. Hendry will develop a distribution strategy for the company, which was formed last year by a merger, covering institutions, private banks, wholesale and retail channels. “We have built a strong distribution network across ten Asia Pacific markets over the years,” said Hugh Young, head of Asia Pacific. “Andrew’s leadership will be important as we look to deepen our relationships with these investors and broaden our distribution footprint.” Hendry joins from Westoun Advisors, where he was managing director. He is a former managing director of M&G Investments Asia, where he was responsible for launching the company's Asian business.
