BlackRock launches multi-asset fund in Hong Kong

Real_estateBlackRock has launched a fund in Hong Kong that invests in alternative assets such as real estate investment trusts and mortgage-backed securities. The Dynamic High Income Fund, launched by the BlackRock Global Funds division, is managed by Michael Fredericks, Justin Christofel and Alex Shingler from the firm’s multi-asset team. “Undertaking a multi-asset strategy allows investors to participate in market upside in a more diversified and measured way, while providing the flexibility to protect against market volatility,” said Fredericks. The company said the fund is suitable for investors seeking a high return who are willing to diversify their portfolios away from traditional asset classes. US-based BlackRock is the world’s largest asset manager by assets. It had more than $6 trillion under management at the end of March. ©2018 funds global asia
