BNP Paribas Securities Services names Hong Kong head

Hong_KongJulien Kasparian, a 20-year veteran at BNP Paribas Securities Services, will move from London to Asia to become the company's head of Hong Kong. He replaces Stéphanie Marelle, who has moved to Paris to become global head of compliance for Securities Services. “The Hong Kong office has experienced tremendous growth in recent years and I look forward to working with the team to help our clients succeed,” said Kasparian. Kasparian most recently served as head of sales and global relationship management for UK banks and brokers. He has also worked in Paris and has developed back-office outsourcing, clearing and settlement services. BNP Paribas Securities Services has $10 trillion under custody and says it is the third largest third-party clearer in Hong Kong. ©2017 funds global asia
