Capital Group hires Singapore & Southeast Asia marketing director

Jean_TanLos Angeles-headquartered Capital Group has hired Jean Tan as marketing director for Singapore and Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, Tan will report directly to the firm’s financial intermediaries marketing director for Europe and Asia, Hannah Aymé. According to Aymé, Singapore is one of the asset manager’s core markets. Tan’s appointment is part of Capital Group’s strategy to further increase its presence in the region. Joining from Natixis Investment Managers where she was regional head of marketing, Tan will head the company’s marketing strategy and events in the region with a view to increasing brand awareness among financial intermediary clients. Capital Group has 23 funds available for Singaporean investors and has been operating in the Asia-Pacific region for more than 30 years.
