Northern Trust Asset Management has named Wouter Sturkenboom as chief investment strategist with responsibility for the Asia-Pacific region in addition to Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Based in the Netherlands, Sturkenboom will develop tactical and strategic investment strategies for the company’s worldwide teams.
“I look forward to helping our clients realise their long-term investment objectives working through our asset management offices across EMEA and APAC,” he said.
Sturkenboom joins from Russell Investments, where he was a senior investment strategist, first in London and later in New York. He formerly worked for Kempen Capital Management.
Northern Trust Asset Management oversees more than $900 billion of assets.
