PGIM hires executive director in Australia

A real estate investment business owned by US insurer Prudential Financial has hired Stephen O’Keeffe as an executive director in Australia. O’Keeffe is tasked with finding real estate debt investments and managing relationships between borrowers and partners. “Real estate debt is increasingly a significant part of our strategy, which has in the past largely focused on core and value-add investments,” said Steve Bulloch, head of Australia for PGIM Real Estate. O’Keeffe joins from real estate services and investment firm CBRE, where he was a senior director in the debt and structured finance team. He had previously worked for Quadrant Real Estate Advisors and Mirvac Funds Management. PGIM Real Estate has been active in the Asia Pacific since 1994 and has assets in the region of $7.3 billion, which is roughly 10% of its global assets. ©2018 funds global asia
