Funds Global Asia, published by Funds Europe, is produced by a dedicated team of professionals with experience of reporting on Asia fund markets stretching back over many years.
Nick Fitzpatrick, Editor
Nick_Fitzpatrick Nick became editor of Funds Europe in May 2007, having previously been deputy editor on another financial title. He has spent seven years in financial journalism – most of that at FTBusiness – and three years in general news. He also worked as a researcher on the book ‘Great Parliamentary Scandals’ by Matthew Parris. He has a degree in Spanish and spent one year studying at the University of Havana.
Piyasi Mitra, Journalist
Piyasi_Mitra Piyasi joined Funds Europe in October 2022. A former features writer, copy editor and journalist with The Times of India, she has written articles for various print publications and digital platforms for over eight years. Piyasi has a master’s degree in applied psychology.
David Wright, Head of Business Development
David_Wright2 David has been involved in the media industry for over 20 years having previously held positions with Nielsen Business Media, Trinity Mirror and Reed Elsevier. He has been involved with a number of financial companies and has covered on-line media, recruitment, display and sponsorship marketing. He was previously the Advertising Director of The Bookseller, the UK’s leading publication for the publishing industry.
Alex Lemm, Business Development Director
Alex_Lemm Alex joined Funds Europe in January 2020 and is focussed on business development, commercial strategy and client relationship management. Alex has 10+ years of experience in helping steer regional sales & marketing strategy, product development and project management in start-ups and FTSE-listed media and events businesses within the financial services sector. He is lucky to have worked in both London and internationally, including, most recently, Hong Kong with Euromoney / Institutional Investor.
Michael Fennessy, Associate Director, Publications & Digital
Michael_Fennesy Michael joined Funds Europe in February 2013 as a database administrator. He is now responsible for the overall digital marketing and audience data strategy for Funds Europe and associated titles.
Kasia Stawirej-Brzezinski, Marketing Executive
Kasia_StawirejBrzezinski Kasia joined Funds Europe in January 2021. She is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of Funds Europe’s sales activity by providing planning, materials and support for all elements including print, digital and events sold by the Funds Europe sales team. Kasia previously worked in events industry delivering awards gala dinners, conferences, roundtables, sports tournaments and mobile technology studios.
