German fund manager DWS has added two senior executives to its Asia Pacific real estate team.
Junghoon (Phil) Kook has been named as head of real estate, Korea, while Leiting Deng has been appointed as head of real estate, Singapore.
The two appointees will be based in Seoul and Singapore respectively and both will report to Christopher Kimm, head of real estate, Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining DWS in 2021, Kook was head of real estate and structured finance division at Shinhan Asset Management.
Deng joined DWS in 2013 and was previously portfolio manager of a real estate core fund at LaSalle Investment Management.
