HSBC has named Mathieu Forcioli as global and Apac head of alternatives within the bank’s investment and wealth solutions (IWS) division.
He will be based in Hong Kong, reporting to global head of ESG and managed solutions Jan-Marc Fergg and Apac regional head of IWS Stefan Lercher.
The position will be effective as of September. Forcioli is currently serving as head of private markets for Antarctica Asset Management.
“We are making huge strides to bolster our wealth products and platforms for our clients, and the alternatives proposition is a key element of that,” said Lavanya Chari, global head of investments and wealth solutions, HSBC.
