Japan-based fund firm Nikko Asset Management has selected a product from technology provider FactSet that can help to manage risk in bond portfolios.
The FactSet Linear Multi Asset Class risk model is designed to help the managers of Nikko's fixed income investments to understand what risks they are exposed to.
“FactSet’s goal is to provide clients with powerful and flexible solutions for their risk modelling processes,” says Alan Bettridge, senior director of sales for Asia Pacific at FactSet.
Asset managers are under increased pressure to monitor and control the risks they take with clients' money as regulators seek to make the financial system more transparent and stable.
“We are excited to work with FactSet, as they have demonstrated coverage for our diverse range of fixed income investments,” says Chin-Jen Chang, head of global data management and solutions at Nikko Asset Management.
