Raffles Family Office launches Apac real estate fund

Raffles Family Office, Apac real estate fund, real estate, fund, Hong Kong, asset manager, Tishman Speyer, ApacHong Kong-based Raffles Family Office has teamed up with international developer and asset manager Tishman Speyer to launch a real estate fund focused on Apac. The Tishman Speyer/Raffles Family Office APAC Opportunity Fund will focus on a number of real estate themes such as brown-to-green, living sector, logistics, and special situations, including credit strategies and distressed opportunities, according to the two firms. “This marks a milestone in Tishman Speyer’s expansion into Asia Pacific gateway cities and the start of a significant partnership with Raffles Family Office and their investors,” said Rob Speyer, CEO at Tishman Speyer. Raffles Family Office has also looked to expand its digital assets capability in recent months, having launched a digital assets platform in September and appointed a digital assets chief investment officer in October. Meanwhile, Raffles co-founder and group CEO Chi-man Kwan has praised a recently passed tax concession for family-owned investment holdings introduced by Hong Kong's Inland Revenue. "This pivotal development will undoubtedly serve as a catalyst for elevating the competitiveness of Hong Kong’s family office industry," he said. "We are witnessing an inflexion point in our sector, a transformative moment that promises to reshape the landscape of wealth management and bespoke financial services.
