Hong Kong-based fund manager Value Partners has appointed Hyund Do Kim as senior director and head of ETF business and Korea sales.
Kim will be responsible for leading the firm’s ETF strategy and development.
Based in Hong Kong, he will report to group president June Wong.
Kim will also assist with sales initiatives in Korea.
He has held positions in both Hong Kong and Seoul having previously served as deputy head of quantitative investment for CSOP Asset Management in Hong Kong and head of ETF investment at Korea Investment Management in Korea.
“I look forward to his expert leadership to help Value Partners with our ETF business expansion,” said Wong. “At the same time, given his strong network in Korea, Kim should add significant value to our ability to serve the Korean investment community.”
